(Knit tie and shoes just for testing, though I do like the wine color. Shoes will be dark chili brown)
I like the sleeves as is, agree with shorter pants, agree that the chest should come in but only on the right side

I think the tie looks pretty nice. Solid colored grenadine ties are a good option for a little texture
My two cents is to add a cuff (if possible) to the pant. The extra fabric will hold the pant down and clean the leg line up
