Fit check on these jumpers

Absolutely horrific looking post 9-5 dressing room pics but yeah a bit stumped looking at jumpers, dark blue is S grey is XS S looks absolutely enormous no? You can tell on my non phone hand the sleeve goes down past my wrist But yeah want to check the XS doesn't look too small Bonus points if you tell me how to style them (probably will wear over a t shirt but kinda lost on what trousers I'd wear)

For sizes: S looks big because shoulders of your sweater should be in line with your shoulder bone XS is better For colors: navy or grey XS are good with Khaki For loose fit: I dont think loose pants with the S will look neat. If you feel S sweater more comfortable you can try to roll up the cuffs (only one fold)

I don't think sweater seams should be in line with your shoulder bone That seems like a rule intended for tailored suit jackets that has been misapplied to other things The navy one looks good to me, I defs don't think it's enormous at all. XS looks a bit short if anything and is maybe pulling a bit Consider also that it may shrink slightly first time you wash it

Yeah respectfully I disagree with just about everything you said 🙈. S fits fine, wider pants would improve the overall silhouette with the S, and I wouldn’t roll the cuff up Honestly both of these sweaters seem to fit fine, I’d probably opt for the S to account for shrinkage and layering

my main concern with the S was that you can see that the sleeve is going past my wrist a bit and is a bit baggier in the arms, whereas the XS the sleeve hits more like on the wrist but maybe thats not a problem and its mean to fit that way? also good point i didnt think about shrinkage at all, considering the XS is barely long enough as it is after a shrink it will just be flat out too short

If you wash cold and air dry it won't shrink much if at all

From my perspective regarding the sweater sleeves generally, They are designed in different ways to fit different tasting. Here are some thoughts about the designs I would like to share with you so we learn from each other. 1. The sweater seam may not align with the shoulder bone but sleeves had to fit at the wrist. This fits perfect 2. The sweater seam may not align with the shoulder bone and pass the wrist. This from my point of view is bigger or designed to be worn big From my point of view I dont recommend to depend on the shrinkage of the cloth because it depends on the material. At the end it is a mater of taste. Enjoy the new sweater 🙂
