Broadcasting a locally-hosted server without port forwarding access
Hi -- I've been trying to host a server on my own hardware, but I've been unable to expose it to the internet, because I lack access to any port forwarding solution. I do have a VPS which is open to the internet - but I can't find any working methods on tunnelling network traffic from the local server ("Gaia") to the VPS ("Rigel.") Attached below is a rough graph of the problem.

Ngrok. Use ngrok.
Or use playit.gg
Also you might still be able to port forward
Is the issue that you are in a CGNAT? Is the issue that your system is just unable to port forward?
Type in the name of your internet carrier in here and ill find you a solution.
the router just... lacks a control panel - at all
it uses a mobile app which I don't have access to
xfinity?
nope
which one
I'll try ngrok real quick
try playit.gg first
playit is less config
and its expected to work better
@Butter can connect with playit, yeah
lack of a custom domain is a bit of a dealbreaker - tried adding a CNAME record and it would just time out afterwards - but it'll do for now
thanks for the help
