Error Code: VAL 62
Hey, I have been trying to open up my game since this morning, but it just refuses to do so and I keep getting this error. I have tried deleting and reinstalling valorant, changing my wifi network, and flushing my DNS cache. Nothing seems to be working, can anyone help please.

yeah I have been using my student apartment's internet
but I have been playing on it for like 2 years now and have never had this issue
I assumed it was something temporary, but its been like this for 2 days now

Try disabling ipv6
And change ur dns to the google dns
to ipv4>

im also getting connection error messages
ipv4 is already enabled just disable ipv6

Go to settings > network and internet > Status > Change adapter options > Right click your wifi / ethernet > click properties > click ipv4 > click properties > click use the following dns server > in the first bar write 8.8.8.8 > in the second bar write 8.8.4.4

I have tried my hotspot as well and it works. Since I share the same wifi with a lot of people in my dorms, is it possible that one of them could have gotten my ip banned or some shit
Sorry if I sound stupid, I have no idea how the tech works
also its impossible for me to start the router since its a building-wide wifi

Looks like an isp issue to me
something I can do about this? email my residence manager to do something?
I doubt its an IP issue since everyone has different IPs, it happened after an update, and the rate of people having this issue was not this high

i haven’t tried it today yet but i used a vpn last night and it worked
it’s annoying though i don’t like having to use a vpn
I am really hoping this is a Valorant issue and not mine, cuz if its mine I literally cant do anything about the wifi
i just opened it without a vpn and it seems to be working ok now so i’m not really sure what the problem was

i had this problem the other day, i downloaded and launched cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and that helped me
this works, but it increases my ping significantly
I am still hoping I can somehow play with my base wifi, without some vpn or hotspot
Its been 10 days and its still not working 😔 Riot support tried everything and in the end basically asked me to use a VPN, but that makes my game unplayable
