I use a survey website called Branded Survey, its for us only and i live in asia, i use vpn to access the website but not for pauout its asking me for US phone number for verification.

are you sure you can change the number prefix from +1 to something else?
could be ^ but also a lot of survery websites are first world countries only due to advertisers paying them more money for the data
