Sorta. In some cases you can use formulae for DC circuit (for example, average power), but not always (say instantaneous power)

Yeah
But we do write Vrms = Irms x Z
Z is impedance
Depends on the way you are interpreting and whats ur goal, lot of things we do to find answers are theoretically wrong
The reason we do it is when we are asked "voltage reading" or ammeter reading, or power disspated in L-C,R-C circuit etc., because you are taking average of power, which is dependant on I^2 or V^2.
