KDE Plasma "Could not connect to display" / "Could not load the Qt platform plugin xcb"

KWin is loading correctly which is allowing me to run in a graphical environment, but plasmashell is failing to load.
qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display
qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt plugin could be initialised. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Please excuse any formatting errors or typos, I had to rewrite the log from scratch since my only method of chatting here is through my phone. In the meantime, I am running a system update to see if it flushes out the issue. An update salvaged it.
