Is this a good brand or just overpriced?
depends entirely on your budget, what you're comfy spending, and how much you need something like this. They just look like wide belts tho to me, nothing really incredible.
But what's the real name of those belts?

idk if they have an industry standard name. You could try slide belt, ratchet belt, cinch belt, etc.
I have a GRIP6 belt that i like, not the same buckle style but it's friction fit. You can adjust it however you want and it's low profile (thickness i mean).
