I need a software for hosting minecraft servers.

Hi I am looking for a software that would allow me to easily manage my mc server. I want it have UI like Falix or some other mc server hosting. I want so me and my friends could use an app or a web to turn on the server without me going to my computer and turning the server on manually I know my computer needs to be on. I would to have it so my would create an account on the app/web and I could add some permissions for them like turn on the server. I am on windows 11.

Wouldn’t recommend using windows (use Linux instead), but check out crafty controller or AMP.

I could use a virtual machine but I don't have any extra computer capable of running the server all I got is an old laptop wich has 4GB of ddr3 ram

check out crafty or AMP. IMO self hosting isn’t the greatest idea due to having to pay for electricity, ddos prot, etc

I am not going to host a big minecraft server so the serve will not be running all the time

issue still stands if you’re public, you don’t have any ddos protection too have you checked about cgnat? !cgnat

We may have bad news for you :C
Open your router's configuration interface. Somewhere you'll see something like 'external' or 'public' IP. If your external IP is in one of the following ranges, you're basically screwed as long as portforwards go: - 10.0.0.0/8 - 172.16.0.0/20 - 192.168.0.0/16 - 100.64.0.0/10 - any IPv6 address/range - This shouldn't be a problem, but Minecraft's IPv6 support is still rather quirky. You're at your own but we're happy if you share your experience. You should ask your ISP for a public and IPv4 address (but this may cost you money). NB: your internal IP should and most probably will be in one of the first three ranges, don't mix them up
