reserved airdrops
Ive gotten a 40 person killstreak without a single airdrop, but I already got one today. Are reserved airdrops limited to only one per day?

No, there's no way to track how many airdrops you get daily
If you mean the ks count near the hotbar, It counts assists too so not all of them are kills and kill assists do not count as a kill for airdrops
You need to kill them yourself to get airdrops
(if you're using mythic weapons a kill counts as 0.025 of a kill or so)
kills from mythics count as .75 of a kill, specs count as .25

i think some areas of the map are more strict to ks, like i would assume brown mountain and alt farm spot etc would take forever for one idk much
