quick size check before I keep or return these jackets?
Bought a chore coat and trucker both from Brooks Brothers, both large
Should I size down or keep ? I'm not too knowledgeable about these styles of jackets , but I want to start dressing smarter for fall spring, please let me know! Thank you

I've read chore coats should be bigger - is this too big though?
Trucker jackets - i didn't realize it would be this 'cropped' - is it okay for my shirt to show under it?
You can just tuck your shirt but yeah truckers are a more cropped jacket
The sleeves are running pretty long on you -- you could try cuffing if it's not too awkward, or a hem (but sleeve hems are expensive)
Right now the first pic is off balance because the coat is roomy and the jeans are skinny. You might try leaning into the relaxed fit.
The second pic, as noted, would likely benefit from tucking. Generally want the outer layer to be longer if you're going to go untucked.
All these rules are breakable, but you'd want to be purposeful in doing so.
