i can not change username
i recently got to know bazzite and i am really happy and eager to learn this. i am so noob that i have some stupid questions. first, i can change name in system menu but i can not change 'user name' (2nd field).
its default name is 'bazzite'.
if i try to change it, it said ' can not save'
and i have to input password many times when i use bazzite. is there any way i dont have to put in password? the last question is that whenever i reboot bazzite, my battery limit resets. do i have a solution?

1) I don't think you can change your username, you might be able to make a new administrative user instead and log in with that
2) Having to enter your password in Linux is standard security and normal (but yes it can be very annoying). You can make edits in the /etc/sudoers file to not need to type the password as much.... but I really would NOT recommend that until you are more comfortable using Linux
3) Not sure what you mean about the Battery limit? What guide did you follow for setting the battery limit?
ty for ur kind answer. when it comes to battery limit, i mean battery charging limit such as 80% . sorry for making u confused. i am using Rog ally. so as to make battery efficient, charging battery to 80% max is good it said. and bazzite has this fuction.
Are you changing the setting in HHD?
Do you have the Rog Ally or the Rog Ally X?

no Hard disk drive
not Hard Disk Drive, HHD, Hand Held Daemon. You get into the HHD menu by hitting the QAM button twice while in game mode

You'll get a menu like the screenshot and if you use the toggles at the top you can change the screen where one of the options is the max charge rate in there. See if that sticks

You'll want to use that menu quite a bit if you going to go traveling with your Ally, you can change the TDP to drastically improve your battery life
omg i was uncomfortable becoz there was no way i can handle this like windows. but here , i can find most function that i needed 👍👍👍

i dont need to change name and i will use passwd as u said. i just wanted to adapt to bazzite. i will search more and learn. really really appreciate it 😀
