CORS error coming on first request, subsequent requests works
Hi team, I am using R2 to store some assets (video files) for my app.
I have setup a domain for this bucket - reports.empirical.run
When I access this from the same origin (let's say
https://reports.empirical.run/<some-path>/<some-path>/index.html), I am immediately able to play the video.
But when I access it from a different origin (https://<some-name>.empirical.run/), the first request always gives CORS error, but after reload, every subsequent request works just fine.
The other origin has video embedded in this format (attached screenshot)
I have also configured the same origin on my Bucket's CORS policy (attached screenshot)
Can anyone help me understand what is the issue here? And how can I fix it?4 Replies
