Not sure what you are trying to do.
my guess is changing the keyboard layout, to that I'm gonna say you can change it in gnome/KDE plasma settings
problem is bar to move is not available and top down options are not available without external screen
i tried to put USB 3 screen ... and now my screen settings is broken ...
