@Wilfred@KLK would you mind sending me some of the DNS records that should be working? Via a screenshot from the dash Don't need all of them, just one or two

Sorry, I didn't mean pinging, but actually trying to get it to respond to a request:
curl http://apps.cdgroup.co.za/ --resolve 'apps.cdgroup.co.za:80:105.247.66.186' -vv
curl http://apps.cdgroup.co.za/ --resolve 'apps.cdgroup.co.za:80:105.247.66.186' -vv

Check with your origin server?

another question, is there a way to see what account is linked to the previous DNS Servers?
Hard@Work
Hard@Work•3mo ago
I'm not sure what you are running/if you have an administrator there, but it seems to just not be responding

but the DNS is also not resolving from the FQND to IP. because if i ping the apps.cdgroup.co.za its supposed to translate to the IP and then give a reply, but that is also not happening

Maybe plonking it in here: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email (but you will need to switch the nameserver back, I think) That one is working as expected for me:
$ ping apps.cdgroup.co.za
PING apps.cdgroup.co.za (104.21.64.28): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 104.21.64.28: icmp_seq=0 ttl=61 time=11.047 ms
64 bytes from 104.21.64.28: icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=4.758 ms
64 bytes from 104.21.64.28: icmp_seq=2 ttl=61 time=5.732 ms
--- apps.cdgroup.co.za ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 4.758/7.179/11.047/2.764 ms

ping apps.cdgroup.co.za Ping request could not find host apps.cdgroup.co.za. Please check the name and try again. whats happening on my side then?

That might be that your device's DNS Cache is out of date? Or an upstream resolver

weird, i tried from another site of ours that is on a different internet source, and did get a repy, but from another IP.. ping apps.cdgroup.co.za SEQ HOST SIZE TTL TIME STATUS
0 172.67.175.13 56 53 69ms 1 172.67.175.13 56 53 70ms 2 172.67.175.13 56 53 73ms 3 172.67.175.13 56 53 69ms 4 172.67.175.13 56 53 70ms if you ping ifsmws.prod.cdgroup.co.za it resolved with the IP that i want, lol. is there a way to see which DNS resolves that name? ping ifsmws.prod.cdgroup.co.za Pinging ifsmws.prod.cdgroup.co.za [105.247.66.186] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 105.247.66.186: bytes=32 time=59ms TTL=247 Reply from 105.247.66.186: bytes=32 time=64ms TTL=247

That one is also fine. It's responding with a Cloudflare IP Address Any DNS record with an Orange Cloud should not respond with the original IP address

Sorry, had a call. and my manager came in.. Okey, do you think i must try and take the proxy down and see what happens?
Hard@Work
Hard@Work•3mo ago
No, it looks more like your origin is having issues...

So i got some good news.. not sure if its the right way, but after i removed the Proxy everything started working again. The Emails, the apps.cdgroup.co.za resolved and i can open the website. And if not for your information about the proxy i wouldn't have resolved this. Thanks a million, your the MVP *you're, sorry🤣 Oh, and i had a DNS issue on my side, the firewall was pointing to the AD and the AD was pointing to the DNS
