Redirect rule not working

I configured some DNS records hours ago and they don't work now, but they worked 10 minutes after I configured them. I added an AAAA record for my API subdomain and one CNAME for @ (root) pointing to my www subdomain since I'm using Google Sites (yes, shame on me). The www site still works. Only the CNAME for @ and the AAAA for api. don't work. Anyone know why this doesn't work anymore? Additional: The AAAA is configured for the IP 2a12:3e80:1:2d6::, but when I test the connection with ping, it shows me a different IP address. When I ping the normal supportmail.dev (which has a CNAME record pointing to www.supportmail.dev) it shows me the IP address of the Google server, but when I try to access the site it just doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have a solution? The records in question:

1. For your @/root, you're never going to see the raw CNAME because that's not allowed per DNS Spec. CF automagically resolves it and flattens it to A/AAAA records 2. For the IPv6 on the api subdomain, it's proxied so you'll see Cloudflare's Proxy IPs rather then your raw one your root not working is probably because you need to add it within Google Sites/get an ssl cert issued for it, not directly related to dns tho

well, I've now deleted the CNAME for the root and edited my redirect rule but it doesn't really work. It's not even responding with anything if I try to get the route. It's only not working when a path is not given. When I provide a path, it does work. This is my Redirect Rule now:

There's two issues with your setup 1. You need a proxied record to exist for redirect to work. You're trying to add a redirect from your root to www? Should create AAAA @ 100:: Proxied record 2. That redirect rule doesn't make sense, you need to fully qualify the subdomains hostnames, ex: www.supportmail.dev api.supportmail.dev docs.supportmail.dev. If you're just trying to redirect your root/apex, then just do Hostname equals supportmail.dev
