Gamescope not working
Im trying to use gamescope to stretch CS2, but it isnt running, trying to run in terminal just "gamescope" and the output is this: [gamescope] [Info] console: gamescope version 3.15.4-beta-for-steamos-main+

Okay fixed it. basically, polaris cards needs to use the flag --backend sdl to work properly
use
gamescope-legacy instead of gamescope for polaris
will give you a better experience than the sdl backend too i thinkit gives me error about vulkan layer or something

for csgo the sdl seems to be working
but i cant get vac to work :(, reinstalling cs from scratch (was using the windows binaries from an old install)
ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=0 in the launch option fixes thatohh
anyway, needed to get into windows
vac couldnt verify my session
maybe its because its installed in a ntfs partition
no idea
it should work but we had 1 other person where it didnt work, forgot what they did to fix it
as in the verifying of the session didnt work

going to extend the btrfs partition
to test that tomorrow

Update on this issue, but off-topic at the same time: cs2 doesnt give more error with vac when installed on btrfs drive
