HTPC HDMI audio drops/cutouts

I remember this being an issue back in the beginning of the year for me. I tried multiple different GPUs (2 different model 6700s and a 6750) and when playing games over HDMI to my TV the audio would randomly drop and restore itself almost a second later and it would be very consistant. I decided to give bazzite another go recently to see if this issue was fixed, this time using a 7700 and the issue still persists. Are there any fixes or updates to this issue?

I can test this a bit later after work. However is there any roadmap as to when the kernel is being updated to 6.11? I decided to poke my head into chimera to see if there were any suggestions there as I remember having the issue on both OS's and I saw they had the update and the issue is seemingly fixed after testing yesterday

Linux 6.11 Addressing "Long-Time Regression" Of Buggy AMD HDMI Audio
For those that have experienced a buggy AMD HDMI audio experience when using recent versions of the Linux kernel, a fix has been submitted today for Linux 6.11 and in turn for back-porting to stable series in addressing 'another long-time regression fix for AMD HDMI.'

When it's available for the fsync kernel (and if it does not cause critical issues for some devices like 6.10 did initially, haven't checked if we are still on 6.9 as I just got back in the loop after being semi absent for a month due to work)

Is it possible to patch the existing kernel thats already available like chimera did for the affected users?

we share patches quite often, main issue atm with 6.10 at least was that it did not like handhelds seems like we are still on 6.9 here

Well I was looking at chimera and they are still on 6.9 as well, they just patched their kernel on top of 6.9 with the fix. So I wasnt sure if there was a way we might be able to do it with os-tree layers or if it could be merged into the bazzite default kernel
