Can't delete the old profile.
I'd like to delete my old profile that is VERY outdated and CAN NOT even open but it is not letting me do it. I get that it sees it as the default profile but it is not letting me change the default profile either.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

You're about to delete all your SMM profiles, so make sure you either make a backup of these files, or know the mods you had installed!
First, use
Alt + F4 to close SMM. Then press Windows Key + R, and paste this, %appdata%\SatisfactoryModManager\profiles. Press enter, and delete all the folders in there. Now, open SMM and it should work...13 Replies

Rereading my message after being more awake, I now understand the
?, I meant you can remove just the modded folder in the profiles folderError
1 Satisfactory install was found, but it points to a folder that doesn't exist.

If you're trying to launch the game without mods:
1.0 has renamed the game target, preventing SMM from being able to automatically uninstall mods for you.
1. To manually turn off mods, delete the FactoryGame/Mods folder from your game install directory manually. Here's how to find the game install directory: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_GameInstall
- Even after you do this, SMM still won't work, and you will still get the "folder that does not exist" error message! You have to launch the game from Epic/Steam for now. Close SMM and don't use it again until we announce that mods are updated.
- If you have issues launching the game after this, also delete the FactoryGame/Plugins folder, then verify your game files to restore it: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#_how_do_i_verify_my_game_files
