How can I install newer sof firmware files ?
I'm on bazzite, and since it is immutable I can't just run the install.sh for the sof firmware files since the target filesystem is mounted read only. If I mount the filesystem rw and overwrite the files, will the changes be discarded when running the next system update ?https://github.com/thesofproject/sof-bin/releases Also, does anyone know how often fedora updates its sof firmware files ? The latest release on fedora seems to be from march and that sadly leaves me with a non working microphone on my meteor lake notebook since the fixes for this are in the june release. Thanks.
