Download speed for game slow now?

When downloading games from steam on my ally x download speed is much slower than my windows PC and my steamdeck, any way i can fix this?

Same on deck oled Stuck between 20-250mbps. Before hovered around 500 Disadbling wifi power management in developer settings fixed it for me It’s back to hopping around again :(. stays on 300mbit for a while and then tanks to 40mbit before going up to 300 again. It just continues that cycle

Try change your download region. A trick that works for some is to change the download region to a less utilized region e.g. Africa East. See if that makes a difference

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly it made no difference. After todays update even browsing the store is hard to do, the connection keeps dropping. It’s only steam though, because in desktop mode every other app works fine and keeps a connection. Disabling and enabling WiFi works as a workaround but within a few minutes the connection drops again 😦

My download speeds for Steam on Bazzite are fine, however I have experienced issues on other distros. Tweaks mentioned in this thread is what fixed it for me: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/10248

Yeah this worked for me, also disabled ipv6 on my router
