Rockstar Editor
What's going on with the editor not working? Can record a clip just fine but you can't open a clip without crashing. It used to work fine. Is there some workaround for this or is it just dead?

RE is known to crash very often, I think the trick is to keep on saving often and just restarting before it crashes
But it doesn't even open the clip at all, there's nothing to save. I have the clip recorded, I go into the editor and it crashes before it opens up every single time.
Cfx/FiveM doesn't have very good support for the rockstar editor
It used to work perfectly fine in the past though.
nothing has changed on our end
Nothing's changed on my end either. One day everything was fine, then another nothing worked anymore. It's been a couple of weeks at this point and I ended up looking for other servers while waiting for it to sort itself out but it doesn't seem like anything's changed.
I can't really suggest anything other than maybe reaching out to Cfx for a workaround
I know it's been ages but I just want to add here in case anyone ever finds this: The FiveM version of RSM right now is what's breaking the Rockstar Editor. If you run Rockstar Editor on an older version it will work fine. To do this you can connect to a server with an older version on it so the FiveM client has to restart, or you can make a new shortcut and add a "-b3095" or something behind the target path. So just do this with the Shortcut and the editor will work fine:
EDIT: I PUT THE WRONG NUMBER IN THE SCREENSHOT. Don't care about the number on the picture and just use -b3095 instead.
How do I do it?

yeah that really works
the rockstar editor doesn't work on b3258
which one should i switch to
or what should i type
3095 works great. I wrote it in the comment but I see now I put out the wrong number in the screenshot.
