I can't add DNS records.
Record quota exceeded. (Code: 81045) I can't add DNS records. I could add them before and there was no such limit. What's the problem?

There is a limit of DNS records. 1000 DNS records, and 3500 on a paid account
I currently have 205 records and I am getting this error. I cannot add an A record. I was able to add it before on my other domains, but I have a new domain and I started getting a quota error after 205. How can I solve the error code I mentioned above?

I also thought it was 1000 as you said, but unfortunately it is not correct.
That’s going to need something which involves support. I would suggest making a post on community and it can be escalated there
I couldn't do this. Can you help me? It directed me here.
and I really need urgent support.
@Cyb3r-Jok3
You should be able to make a post on the community forum. Not a support ticket.
I couldn't do this. Can you help me on how to do it?
@Cyb3r-Jok3
I’ve asked if someone else can look to escalate as I am on the go
I can't create a topic because my account is new, can you help me @Cyb3r-Jok3
I’ve asked someone to as I’m not able to
thanks
What's your community account?
ps. It does kinda look like the limit for new zones is 200 records, at least in my testing. On old free zones I can do over 200, on new only 200. But will try to get clarification to be sure. If super urgent higher zone plans (Pro, etc) are documented to have a limit of 3500 Records https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/troubleshooting/faq/#does-cloudflare-limit-the-number-of-dns-records-a-domain-can-have. Free does not have a documented limit
pro 3500 =
?
Yes
Pro, Business, and Enterprise have a limit of 3,500 DNS records.
It's ridiculous to have restrictions on the free plan. I can't add the 300+ DNS I used before. 😦
Can't the cloudflare team do something about this?
Do they read our messages?
yea like I said we can try to get clarification that the new limit of new zones is indeed 200, what's your community account/username? They might want to make a ticket for you
You never replied to my message below so I never escalated directly, they did confirm this today with a docs pr though
Free zones crated on or after 2024-09-01 00:00:00 UTC have a limit of 200 DNS records. Free zones created before 2024-09-01 00:00:00 UTC have a limit of 1,000 DNS records.
ok thanks
