Properly remove layered packages
Hi, a while back in installed portmaster and virtual machine manager which created new rpm layers. Now i would like to remove both of these but even after using "rpm-ostree uninstall portmaster" they still show's up like this when i run "rpm-ostree status"
rpm-ostree status

LayeredPackages: virt-manager
LocalPackages: 'portmaster-1.0.0~2-1.x86_64'
I have even tried "rpm-ostree reset" but still no luck. I'm pretty new to linux and bazzite so please let me know what i'm doing wrong here.3 Replies
Solution
they're in your previous image
your new image does not have any packages layered
when you update the previous image will be your current one and they'll have completely disappeared
Oh cool i see. Thanks! 🙏
