Minecraft Geopol Mapping / claiming troubles.
Hello.
I'm a staff member of a Minecraft nations server, and we are about to pull our hair out trying to figure out a way to make our claim system less brain tumor inducing.
What plugins do y'all use to map? All we are really looking for is a plugin that can integrate with dynmap/dynmap alternatives and provide an in game message when entering / exiting.
Having to fly to every vertex of a shape to make it isn't ideal, haha.
For reference, here is our "world map" and the dynmap that is based off of it.

(ignore the minor hemorrhage the dynmap has, pebblehost being pebblehost)
Chunk based claiming isn't really ideal, but if there's literally no other option then we might have to do it
please don't use dynmap
Check out bluemap, pl3xmap and squaremap
Pl3xmap has an integration for ClaimChunk, GriefDefender, GriefPrevention and WorldGuard
Bluemap has a lengthy list of 3rd party addons and tools including hooks for GriefDefender and WorldGuard & GriefPrevention.
Squaremap also has integrations for ClaimChunk, GriefPrevention and WorldGuard too.
I would heavily recommend you check out one of those three map plugins (bluemap, pl3xmap and squaremap) as they are way faster and way storage efficient (bluemap is still rather heavy on storage but nowhere as much as dynmap).
plus pl3xmap, bluemap and squaremap are all incremental after the initial render (so they only rerender changed areas, and they do it periodically).
unlike dynmap
if you really, really want to stick with Dynmap you should check out Dynmap-GriefPrevention
not sure if it would work
