building on cf workers+pages+d1 and afraid about future pricing scheme
i am building a website + backend with some data processing for a small non profit and worked hard to reduce cpu time and data storage to fall under the 5 dollar plan but i am afraid about the long term future if cloudflare increases its prices or deletes that plan is there any security regarding that

By "under the 5 dollar plan" you mean not using anymore then the included amount of cpu time?
The only thing Cloudflare has in its TOS is
We reserve the right to change the fees that we charge for the Service, at any time in our sole discretion, provided that we give you at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice of such changes. Unless otherwise specified in such notice to you, any changes to the subscription fees will take effect in the billing period immediately following our notice to you.Cloudflare has changed the Worker Plans pricing around once before and migrated all pay as you go to the new scheme, but it resulted in most bills going down and simplified pricing: https://blog.cloudflare.com/workers-pricing-scale-to-zero/ Otherwise they haven't suddenly hiked prices or changed them, I don't believe ever. I wouldn't worry about that too much based on CF's history and aim to be super cheap in that regard
The Cloudflare Blog
New Workers pricing — never pay to wait on I/O again
Announcing new pricing for Cloudflare Workers, where you are billed based on CPU time, and never for the idle time that your Worker spends waiting on network requests and other I/O.
We've only ever increases prices once in Cloudflare history where we did pro/biz plans from 20 -> 25 & 200 -> 250
That took 12 years - https://blog.cloudflare.com/adjusting-pricing-introducing-annual-plans-and-accelerating-innovation/
There are no plans to do any increases anytime soon - we will continue just adding more to the $5 Workers plan and making it even better
