I will summarize the solutions for future study.
How to deal with VAC9005 error
1: BIOS mode must be set to UEFI.
2: TPM2.0 must be enabled.
These are the requirements to be able to run Riot Vanguard after this update.
One of the requirements for Windows 11 to work is to support TPM2.0, so the second requirement is not relevant to those who are already using Windows 11.
However, if you were not able to upgrade from Win10 for some reason, it is possible that your TPM is stuck at 1.2 or later, but less than 2.0 (a requirement for Win10 to work).
In that case, you have to turn off the “virtualization-based security” mode.
Start cmd.exe with Admin privileges and
run bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
.
After that, you need to reboot the unit once.
If this does not cure the problem, see https:// support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/16941220890899-Addressing-Virtualization-based-security-VBS-settings-on-Windows-10-VAN9005-VALORANT to find a soluttion.
