I wanna test the Partial (CNAME) setup with the Business Plan, can i use a test domain and transfer
the Business Plan later to the Production Domain?

It's not possible to transfer it, no. You could cancel but no prorated refunds either, would have to pay the entire month/wait for end of month for cancellation
So my client has to pay 250$ for 10 min Testing and buying again a Business Plan for the Production domain? 😄
Sign up the root domain (example.com) with Business, convert to partial cname and then just point over a test subdomain (test.example.com), and then you could do the real domain after
