VM Install
So weird thing I'm having an issue with, the VM I created works fine, gpu is passed through and everything seems to be working. However, the moment I try to connect in with Sunshine/moonlight I can't use my mouse or keyboard. I can use RDP/XRDP to connect in perfectly fine. I'm also losing any control when launching PCSX2 (I haven't tested anything else so far). Any ideas what's happening??

is bazzite the host or guest
Bazzite is the host for sunshine. I've tried using moonlight from both a Ubuntu 24.04 laptop and my main Windows 11 desktop. Not sure if it matters but proxmox is the hypervisor I'm using.
i know the cursor missing is usually because sunshine uses the virtio gpu
you need to make sure sunshine uses the passed through gpu instead of defaulting to virtio
either set that or remove the virtual gpu
also make sure there is a dummy plug in the passed through gpu
I'll give that a try when I can. Thanks!
only reason i know about the invisible cursor is because i use sunshine when doing nvidia testing in a vm š¤£
Alright, so quick update. I tried setting the GPU and it seems to still be happening. I can see the mouse within bazzite but am unable to move it through moonlight when connecting. If I connect in via xrdp I can see the mouse move. Maybe Im missing something?
check logs to see if sunshine is actually using the gpu instead of the virtio gpu as i cannot replicate
another alternative is to remove the virtual gpu alltogether as long as the gpu is passed through
does the user have the right groups to be allowed to send the input events?
(Not sure if that's a problem with bazitte or if it auto adds you to the right groups, but I've had it on another distro)
Deleted the old VM, reinstalled bazzite and sunshine. Its working now :thonk:
