System sounds are gone?

I'm on bazzite-nvidia with KDE. The system sounds don't play for an unknown reason. For example: - changing volume - plugging in usb - previewing sounds in the settings (even locally installed ones) I really don't know how to debug this issue. Please ping if you reply. Thanks in advance!

Solution:

make sure this is not muted or lowered in the "sound" section, other than that it should just work as i cannot replicate.
