Valorant PBE "apply now" button not showing up

I had just heard about valorant pbe and i wanted to join cause i though it would be fun to help test things out. I have a pretty capable pc and i tried to login with my riot account and its not showing up. I was wondering if it a timing thing, or if its because my account isnt directly tied to riot and its going through google.
