hear me out- local library + Udemy
I just found that my local library has a portal of all sorts of online resources including udemy access to all sorts of paid courses just with your library card! Saw a comment from a gentleman across the country who mentioned his local library had udemy course access which prompted me to look into mine and lo and behold !
So worth a few minutes to check it out- the only caveat is it’s under a whole separate service Udemy Business which means a separate account and a separate app but in my case that’s no problem , just made a different account.
PS I also just came across Khan access

I dont know anything about libraries 🙁 how do I get the free access to udemy?
Public Libraries in the US do a lot of stuff like this. You can't use them from outside the US usually though
Yea one thing we have going for us is our library system. Its always a fight but we are lucky for sure to have dedicated people that typically work in that area.
Even our small town has a exchange system in place, so we get loans from others just gotta put in the order.
It really is a great resource. Curious if you ended up checking if your local library offered free udemy access ?

I just found it on the library website hidden under something like “E-Resources”. If you end up asking The Lady, lmk im so curious how common this is. I’ve never used Khan but saw that was an option on our librarys website too. Definitely getting my moneys worth out of the Udemy access though 😆

If you live in the US, legally through the US Library system. Otherwise, please keep any answers to similar and most definitely legal solutions. That does not include sharing accounts

My bad, didn’t realize sharing a free account could be a no no or illegal eeek don’t report me to the us library system , it would be so embarrassing to be stripped of a library card by the government
