Hey guys i wanted to ask do i need to add CAA record in the DNS records to get the ssl. I got hosting from a free hosting site so it didn't scanned that automatically.

For certs from CF, no - we will automatically handle CAA records
for your own origin ssl, possibly if they aren't covered by our default CAAs
you can
dig CAA <domain> to figure out what CAAs existbut the issue is my ssl certificate is not being activated
i dont know what else can be the reason
