advice for styling relaxed/oversized hoodies and sweaters
hi, looking for advice regarding this topic. from my current understanding/knowledge I am aware that the bottom (pants) should be heavier/more or equal to the volume of the top to balance the outfit and I personally agree with this. another thing I would like to address is folding up the hem. I’ve provided two photos of the new kith sweatshirt that just arrived. it’s in the more relaxed fit side. first photo is regular then second I folded in the hem. (this my sisters room btw).

another thing I want to mention is that I plan on bringing the balenci hoodie and maybe this crewneck or another relaxed fit hoodie with me on my upcoming trip to see how the whole outfit looks when trying on pants. hopefully can send good pictures here in time while purchasing. (it’s like mid 80 degrees when I’m going so just need to bring them somehow lol)
I fold the hem on all my sweatshirts because I think it looks better but there’s no right or wrong answer
hm yeah I’ve been leaning toward that side especially with the larger hoodies/sweatshirts such as this one
It’s a “cleaner cut” and I’m especially excited to see the whole outfit put together with sneakers and pants
