I wish the progress would carry over to the main game
I really wish the beta would save my progress because I went through all the trouble to link my Bandai Nampo account and register my email just to be disappointed when I find out that this progress won’t carry over to when the game fully releases, and I’m also grinding this game and I don’t want to grind this game for nothing in the future.

This is the first beta test of the game, there will be other testing phases in the future, unfortunately in the current one the data will be erased.
Its pretty normal for progress to not carry over from the beta. Think of the time you spend playing now as practice for future tests and the official release

I wish that due to no carry over, everything was unlocked and available for testing ... why grind for it not to carry over.
To balance how fast / hard stuff is obtained
What do you need balance for obtaining things in a play test ?
Probably for balancing it in the full release
There will never be balancing on unlocking heroes 🤣 only "balance" will be my wallet

Again, this is a playtest... absolutely no reason for blocking heroes, costumes
Open Beta sure, more players more feedback
To test the progress
2 weeks is plenty to unlock the shop rank 2 characters
And they also have free trial characters that change every week
pretty sure the free trials characters will also be in the main game
so you get 2 damage / 1 defense / 1 support
