tab works with notepad++ afaik
if not, sublime text is an alternative thats really good to use
ive preferred it over notepad++ and has syntax coloring for a range of languages and actually pointed out issues faster the notepad++ ever did
NP++ does have tab support but Sublime has been great! I have a weak PC so editing yml files has been quicker with it than launching up VSC all the time lol
