Randomly started getting lag spikes
The weird part is that it was mostly fine before (other than a month ago it starting to sometimes crash because of running out of ram.. even though that wasn't an issue for a year before). FPS was never really an issue before and it almost always stayed at 120 but yesterday is started randomly dropping to 30, stayed there for a few seconds (almost as if fps cap changed to 30) and then back to 120 but today it was unplayable with it dipping like in the screenshot and that happened about every 10 seconds.

P.S. It shouldn't be a network issue cause I have gigabit optical fiber internet and ping is in low 10s
are you on a laptop
check task manager for other apps
also is it overheating
Nope
I know the general stuff like that but it's valorant in specific that I had issues like that with, nothing else.
val doesnt normally just
randomly
crash fps
so
I have a 64gb of ram, i7-10700k and probably weakest part is gtx 1650 but that should be enough to not go down to like 30 fps. At that time I only had Val, discord and chrome open (and not many tabs)
yeah no specs are def not the issue this game could run on a potato
That's what I meant.. Didn't look like it was just my pc not being powerful enough so was mostly wondering if anyone else had a similar issue or if there's something that's known to cause similar symptoms
whatrs your mintors
refresh rate
monitors*
not sure why it matters here but it's 60hz
I don't use vsync or anything like that tho
what resoloution do u play on

uh monitor is 1920x1200 and I tried both fullscreen as well as windowed fullscreen
limit your fps to around 75 everywhere and see if your fps drops
tried that but it didn't change anything.. Later tried checking if there are driver updates and after getting those it's seemingly not as bad
thanks for help tho
