Looks like they only explicitly support Ubuntu (and therefore Debian-based distros, which Bazzite is not) but you might get lucky if you download the driver package (.tar.xz, not .deb), extract it, and try running the install script... have you done that? https://www.huion.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=lists&catid=16&down_title2=H1060P
Download Drivers And User Manual - Huion
Download the latest driver and user manual for your Kamvas pen displays and Inpiroy pen tablets. Compatible with macOS and Windows.
If that doesn't work you can try contacting their tech support and see if they can get you drivers to build from source.
how do i install that
Before we go installing a driver that isn't built for this system, maybe go to Discover (if you're on KDE) or Software (if you're on Gnome) and install the Open Tablet Driver flatpak first, my understanding is that it supports the Huion H1060P.
List of supported tablets: https://opentabletdriver.net/Tablets
ujust install-opentabletdriver
is probably betterthats never worked with mine
ive tried it on bazzite, aurora, and bluefin
also tested the tablet on windows to make sure my tablet isnt magically broken all of a sudden and it works, its why i made this thread i try to avoid using windows
have you tried unloading the uclogic driver before running OTD?
how would i do that :beagle:
sudo rmmod hid_uclogic
you can get a list of loaded modules with lsmod
Solution
if that works
rpm-ostree kargs --append=modprobe.blacklist=hid_uclogic
to blacklist it on bootbadass thanks, will this mess up anything else like my logitech wheel?
fairly sure that's a seperate driver
uclogic is a driver for generic graphic tablets but most everything it supports works through OTD anyways
and tends to conflict with OTD
fhank you
issue solved then
