Things i have tried
Turning off fastboot
Turned off hibernation
No i wasn’t dualbooting

Yes
Steam disagrees
Not a bazzite issue, not fixable by anything you've tried
need to figure out why steam can't connect to their servers

this also points to a more generic internet problem
as this is just downloading a zip from a repo
maybe it's DNS?

Nope, I didn’t have a dns when I connected
Try vpn, should work I think and connect to everything
Wait how can you use a VPN on a linux system?
