Application is unable to load assemblies after the IIS pool is recycled.
Hi All, I'm working on a very old application that uses the ASP.NET MVC 4 framework. We're experiencing an issue where the app is unable to start after the app pool is recycled. However, it works fine when run for the first time after deployment. It also starts working if we remove the ASP.NET temporary directory for the app or when the bin folder is modified.
The app also stops working when the app pool is manually restarted. Strangely, it fails to start because a property set method is not found on some internal library, even though that property has always been there. Four other properties were set for that class, and those property sets worked fine.
This behavior started happening suddenly and occurs with several different configuration sets, including various Windows Server versions and IIS versions.
Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
