What is the point of ItemsAdder?
I'm not knocking the plugin, but AFAIK, custom items, weapons, models, discs etc. can already be added to the game using other (free) plugins.
Is there something special about this plugin that I'm missing?

Bloat
And like 5 broken 1.21 builds in a row with many bugs
Oraxen is not only open source but has snapshot releases in their repo (not GitHub) it’s like repo.oraxen.com iirc

@×͜× geo, I can't comment on item adder as I've not used it much. However, it is very bloated and as what Torrent said it's not stable. I highly recommend oraxen for multiple things. With the plugin you can add new blocks, armor, tools, items, mobs, huds, food, etc. It's very customizable and you basically just open a new worm hole of things you can do-- it gets very extensive and complicated but it's worth it in the end. Here some pictures of what I could do with oraxen without mods or anything.
This is with oraxen and hmc cosmetics
used to add custom textures into items and has a lot of useful features (or "bloat" as mentioned by people above)
it does mostly the same things as oraxen aswell
so if you are not satisfied with one you can try the other
I personally have a license and it's pretty good
Do remember, there are no refunds for plugin. I suggest you compile oraxen yourself first to try it out and see if you like it (you won't get support from anyone in oraxen if you do, until you purchase the plugin)
never said you should try itemsadder or oraxen first
up for the guy to decide really
oraxen is not easy to build
it's intentionally missing dependencies in build.gradle and you have to hunt them down
just download from their snapshot repo
is it?
that is absolutely beautiful, and it pretty much checks off all my boxes.
I'm using a bunch of smaller plugins atm, I may give oraxen a try and see what I can replace.
last time I compiled I just waited for it to sync and I compiled it
Yep, just suggesting to start with oraxen as if you are able to build yourself you can test before buying :)
Indeed
Yeah, that sucks haha. That would explain a lot lol
Yeah
Thank you, if you need help with anything feel free to ping me or dm me and I'll help where I can :)
I stand corrected. MorePersistentDataTypes was causing issues but they mistyped _ instead of - in the dependency
OMG how did I miss that
it took me a moment
to figure it out
