Public Nameservers for another Domain Registrar

I wanna register a domain at another provider but I wanna use the cloudflare nameservers. Is there any way to do this by using a domain and not an IP address?

Sure? Not sure what the issue would be here?

I think I can use them I've now used ns1.cloudflare.com. - it didn't give me an error so it should work xD

you have to use the nameservers assigned to you (they show up when you add the domain) or your domain will never move from pending -> activated and will eventually be removed from your acct

yes, I saw that just yet xD The thing is, that I provided the wrong nameserver upon domain registration so I don't know if it's going to work some time. I hope I fixed it by only providing the two nameservers CF gave me upon registering the domain on CF. Since this will take a while I will get back to this tomorrow evening.

it's fine as long as they're changed now. If you can share the domain name, can check

I see
Domain: burningdezibelz.de Nserver: ns1.cloudflare.com Nserver: ns1.googledomains.com Nserver: ns2.cloudflare.com Nserver: ns2.googledomains.com Nserver: ns3.googledomains.com Status: failed
might be slow to update but might want to double check, the auth. dns servers for be don't serve any ns either.

Same what I saw earlier

and you changed them at your registrar, and you're sure you changed them in the right spot?

Hetzner config is very simple. I deleted all my NS records and added the two CF gave me. But unfortunately I provided these 5 upon registration which was completely wrong xD

Records? If you're editing actual dns records you're likely in the wrong location

I'll head to bed now, I need some rest...

usually registrars also provide DNS, and people get confused changing the ns records on the dns side doesn't update the actual nameservers for the domain, because that's in a different location
