I have been studying through online courses and trying to start my first game, tho i realized it might be insufficient for me to make a good one alone, so i thought that if somebody who is also creating their game, may i tag along and though that get some experience:D

Make a small game. Hell, make a game completely in the console window, e.g., warships, tic tac toe, tamagachi... Check out r/programmingBuddies Check out discord communities for Unity and for Godot (I recommend joining Brackeys discord) Do not strive to create a good game. It'll prevent you from focusing on what's important - learning programming. Strive to make a game in general, to learn. I know it might not be that exciting... But it'll help you motivate yourself better. The following is my personal opinion I believe that working with someone is awesome, but that means you or your partner must know how to organize themselves. Otherwise, the partnership won't be fruitful. I think it is best to walk the walk solo, in the beginning. Face the problems and look for answers by googling, or asking. Strive for figuring things out. Don't look for solutions delivered on a silver platter (tutorials), because you won't learn this way. ---- When you face a challenge you've discovered and find a solution yourself, then you'll truly learn and progress $helloworld

What Denis talks about also happens in everything where skill acquisition is required, and is done through self-teaching, like learning Japanese https://learnjapanese.moe/guide/#14-coming-to-terms-with-sucking 1. Understand that you don't have to know everything before you get to the next level 2. Be okay with sucking 3. Seek feedback at the end of a project Start small. Your first 10 dozen projects will suck. You're not trying to build the next Skyrim, you're trying to become a better developer.
