Agent 026 Concept based on Riot's recent teasers
This is my personal interpretation of the upcoming Valorant agent 026, based on Riot's recent teasers. I mainly referenced the "In Bloom" player card, the 2024 VCT graphics with the vines & thorns, as well as the newest in-game loading screen. My friend challenged me to draw this, so I took it and ran with it! We'll see how accurate my guesses are on the 23rd when the agent is set to be revealed.

I do wish I dug deeper into lore videos & other aspects of the teasers before starting on the piece, but I still had fun making this. I'm not expecting it to match much at all honestly, but it was a neat challenge regardless!
Here's what I had in mind while creating this piece.
Agent Name: Rose (or Flora? or Briar? but I chose Rose even though it's pretty on-the-nose haha). Also the typography for the name was just too fun to create, since I emulated the type style of the other official agent graphics.
Age: probably early-to-mid 20's.
Gender: Female, especially since the teasers made me think of tropes we've seen before (think of characters like Poison Ivy and Zyra). DISCLAIMER: I only just found out yesterday, AFTER I finished the piece, that the new agent is indeed confirmed to be a woman. The audio of Jett's phone call in the lore easter egg confirms this prisoner (aka the new agent) is a woman. Source: a YT video called "VALORANT NEW Agent 26 - Everything We Know So Far" by a channel named "Kanga - VALORANT"
Ethnicity: Greek or Italian, possibly? My initial guess was some country in the Mediterranean region, since that's where roses were first cultivated (as well as Persia and China, according to a quick google search). If not that, then my other guess would be Middle Eastern i.e. Egyptian. After watching the lore video, I realized I completely ignored the hourglass motifs from the teasers when I was creating this piece. Hourglasses were first created in ancient Egypt, so this could be another possibility.
Role: Initiator or Sentinel for sure, one of the two. The Sentinel role has the fewest number of agents on the roster, although an Initiator was released the least recently AFAIK. The roots seem like they'd go well with trapping abilities / locking down an area, so my guess is Sentinel but I could be wrong.
Abilities: Vines & thorns, lol. Lots and lots of vines & thorns. I didn't really do any theorycrafting on potential abilities, so I'd love to hear your thoughts before the official release.

With some traps like probably something like a molly of flowers that would damage and like a root wall is a good concept too although its not imaginable
Traps are sure to come because of flowers' setup in the teaser i think?

Thank you! Yeah if anything the name is definitely going to be only 1 or 2 syllables. All agent names are really only 1 or 2 syllables so they can be easily comm'd mid match. It does feel kind of on the nose haha, but it made sense based on what we've been given with the teasers so far. Ty ty 🙏
