Incorrect Screen orientation on OneXPlayer X1 Intel
The screen is oriented incorrectly. adding the workarounds that seem to work for the AMD versions of the X1 causes a black screen at boot and need to rollback to get back to game mode. I've tried the following, both have the same result in black screen:
rpm-ostree kargs --append-if-missing video=eDP-1:panel_orientation=left_side_up
~/.config/environment.d/gamescope-session-plus.conf

gamescope logs seem to spam thousands of errors trying to flip with "invalid argument". not sure if that's helpful info.
if you can, open an issue here:

and be sure to mention you're a bazzite user
I'll talk with the chimera team and see if we can find a fix for the rotation
Thanks. I've set up desktop mode to run as default for now and going to run with that, but will definitely try any solutions that come up. will get around to posting an issue there shortly
the ChimeraOS fork doesn't have issues enabled, did you mean @ the Valve upstream repo?
ah, nope
I'll handle it then
alright, lmk if any additional information is needed
thank you!
I'm wondering if this is related... the display config and xrandr, etc are reporting incorrect aspect ratios. For example, the default selection (which looks like proper landscape) is 10:16, but all the rest are inverted, like 16:10
that's fairly normal, steam deck is the same
the problem though, even in desktop mode... I can't get anything but the default to work properly
1280x800 for example appears as portrait with black boxes on the left and right rather than having proper 1280 width
