✅ assistant missing
im very new to C# so i may not be that knowledgeable about what i am talking about, but i got a problem with the assistant, idk if it's called that, again im new to that.
basically, i was watching a tutorial on how to start developing games, "The Unity Tutorial For Complete Beginners", and i stumbled upon a problem. the program wouldn't give me suggestions about what to write next, it doesn't seem that harmful but 1 wrong code line and the whole code is not gonna work, and im very good at making mistakes, im afraid ill need to buy an expensive extension like the tomato thingy but i don't want to put money into that, and not that much for sure.
im using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, (the one with the infinity logo), clue me in if i am a fool.

you most likely didn't wire up your VS with unity correctly.

If intellisense is not working for Rider / Visual Studio, follow these steps.
Close the editor and re-open it again by double-clicking a script file.
