Server gives random "connection reset" errors on remote players but not on local players (same wifi)

Hi! I am hosting a minecraft server and have an issue, sometimes my server will randomly say "connection reset" and kick everyone except for me (I am using the local IP to connect, If i was using the public one it would kick me too), This is getting pretty annoying and I ahve no idea what causes it (I am using a ubuntu server machine, specs in attached image), this started happening after I connected an ethernet cable so that leads me to believe the server is switching internet interfaces for some reason. Any help is greatly appreciated

do logs include chat? If so I'd prefer not sharing as it is a closed friends server and it has some conversations i wouldn't want to make public

I know, is that the issue tho? I was running it with no issues up until i switched to ethernet and it's only that high if i run the server (I allocated 5GB)

Mm. I mean ethernet should be more stable, not less stable. Try an mtr to both your PC and the outside world, see if there's packet loss.

Run the mtr and see if there's packet loss. Google it.

Your system, some random outside system, and Google.

Test more connections, see if you get packet loss to your friend.
