Steam remote play (together) crashes bazzite upon the join of a player in gaming mode
So described as such, is there any resolution?
I tried
1. Disabling hardware acceleration
2. Updating bazzite
3. 2 different games
4. Attempted to use Dualsense input and 5. reinstalling 2 of the games and steam
One of the signs i have seen is that steam doesn't detect the handheld daemon in the menu controller, when I invite my friend it does but after he joins it is gone and after closing the quick setting menu the screen turns off, I'll attach a video to see it in action, it's half cut due to wanting not to reveal the thing, I'm sorry blame glossy displays but anyway. I'll appreciate any resolution possible...
And if it wasn't clear yes works perfectly on desktop mode (what a pattern this has been).

Marking as solution: I've switched to steam deck beta client and as expected of the latest patch addressing remote play it has been resolved.
Choose your poison: wait for the next stable update or opt into beta...

pattern update:
I tried
Brawlhalla: no crash
theeen I tried Tetris only for it to crash
let's see what others are effected by the crash
so my current resolution to go for is reinstalling games after testing that make it crash
and I forgot to put this, this seems to have occurred after I tried remote play together on brawlhalla, not sure if this was to be related
yup reinstalling games way didn't work, I've decided on reinstalling steam as a potential resolution
Reinstalling steam didn't resolve it
Last resort unless a solution is mentioned: Reinstall bazzite. Other resolutions: wait for a steam update or participate in the beta
As others have said, a reinstall will not change anything. I haven't got any solutions right now and am going to work but do not reset.
Last resort is now blanked out
thank you for warning me about that, genuinely
