Valorant Unusual AFK Warning
How do I say this... I don't use a dedicated GPU so for some reason these days I am getting AFK Warning while valorant is loading and I have not even entered the game
Im on the loading screen and guess what? As soon as I open it I get an AFK penalty which goes from fucking 5 minutes to 3 hours just because Valorant counts me afk on the fucking loading screen.
Need fixes/tips to avoid this bullshit

can you check rq if you have valorant installed on an HDD or SSD pls?
HDD
Saving space on SSD
thats the issue
;hdd
This is an issue with files loading off of your disk. You might have a HDD. If you do, you should defragment it or get an SSD and place Valorant on it.
Use
windows key + r
than type "dfrgui" to check what type of drive you have.

Solid State Drives (SSD) and Hard Disk Drives (HDD) are data storage devices. SSDs are usually much smaller, thinner, and offer more storage volume, speed, and efficiency compared to HDDs.
install val on SSD and the problem is most likely solved immediately
This is making recently, After I update windows
Did not ever happen in the previous 2 months..
its worth a try tho
especially since afk penalties stack up each time you are banned, up to 100 years :Hehe:
Ok so, I right now have a 10 minute timer and 7 day penalty
So I dont get any rank upgrades for 7 days?
wdym "any rank upgrades"?
I mean, I won't gain XP? (Level UP)
in order to gain XP you need to play games
either unrated, comp, swift, spike, escalation, dm, tdm
if you are banned in every single mode, you cant gain any xp then
Also AFK Penalties count being AFK on the home screen also right?
afk penalties are always counting, even if you are not online
so you dont need to sit in the menu for 7 days straight
you can also just not start the game at all and come back in a week

so, in order to solve the reason of the afk bans, try to (re)install valorant on an SSD if possible.
hdd´s are usually much slower than ssd´s, and valorant currently is very unoptimized (when installed on hdd), meaning the hdd´s are too slow to load all the needed data in time, causing you to be banned for afking (the system doesnt know the difference between left (or didnt join :p) on purpose and technicall error
No, Im not saying about sitting 7 days straight
Im just asking that is showed some 7 day XP BAN message
nd I really get annoyed for these penalties as half the time I got work and whenever Im free I have left my 3050 at home so I don't want to waste 10 minutes loading the game
its not caused by the gpu
oh, i dont know anything about that
The late loading time is...
its not, the loading time is caused by valorant being installed on HDD
