What is self inductance of solenoid
I have seen the formula L = u0 N^2 A/l
But in this question the used some other formula why?

N is total number of turns
N= nl
n= N/l i.e total number of turns per unit length
if you want n in the formula the formula would be u0n^2Al whereas for N, its the one you are saying
